Both robots have identical cleaning hardware: two pump motors delivering 8,500+ gph, two drive motors, full floor/wall/waterline coverage, front and rear scrubbing brushes, the same Clear app, and the C9 microprocessor.
Clear UV adds a built-in UV-C light inside the robot body. The light is controlled from the Clear app. Clear S has the same cleaning hardware without the light.

Both Clear UV and Clear S are engineered for in-ground residential pools up to 50 ft long. Each includes a 59-ft anti-tangle cable.
Clear cleans gunite, tile, vinyl, fiberglass, and pebble surfaces. The wall-climb logic handles most slopes and curves. Above-ground pools and unusually shaped commercial pools aren't a great fit — if your pool is unusual in any way, contact us with details and we'll tell you straight.
A typical residential pool runs a full cycle in about 2 hours. During the cycle, two pump motors move 8,500+ gallons per hour through the UltraFilters.
The Clear app's weekly timer lets you schedule cleanings (we recommend 2–3 times per week for most owners; daily during heavy debris periods like pollen season or after a storm).
Yes. Continue maintaining your normal chlorine or saltwater system and balanced pool chemistry. The built-in UV-C light does not change the pool-care guidance in the owner manual.
Every Clear robot ships with a 3-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects on the robot, control box, cable, and the UV module (Clear UV). Replacement parts like brushes and filter cartridges are wear items.

No plumbing changes — Clear is a self-contained robotic cleaner with two dedicated pump motors. It does not connect to your pool pump or skimmer.
You will need a standard GFCI-protected outlet near the pool deck (within the 59-ft cable reach of where you'd typically place the control box, which should sit at least 10 ft from the water on dry ground). That's it.
