Questions

Does Clear S climb walls and clean the waterline?
Yes — every cleaning mode covers floors, walls, and the waterline. Wall climbing depends on pool shape, water clarity, and pool chemistry; the manual lists the supported ranges (pH 7.0 – 7.8, free chlorine ≤ 4 ppm, salt ≤ 5,000 ppm).
What pool sizes does Clear S fit?
In-ground residential pools up to 50 ft long, with a working depth of 2.5 – 16.4 ft (0.8 – 5 m). The 59 ft anti-tangle cable lets the robot reach every corner when the power supply is centered along the long side of the pool.
What cleaning modes does Clear S have?
Six built-in modes: Regular (2 hr), Ultra (3 hr), Fast (1 hr), Floor only (2 hr), Waterline only (2 hr), and a Custom mode you configure in the Clear app.
How do I control it?
Basic cleaning runs from the Power Supply (Control Box). For schedules, manual joystick driving and water temperature, use the Clear app over Bluetooth + Wi-Fi. Pairing steps are in the Clear S manual (PDF).
How often do the UltraFilters need replacing?
Rinse the UltraFilter basket after every cleaning cycle. The four UltraFilter panels (1 µm / 180 µm precision) should be replaced every 3 – 6 months depending on pool conditions. Each robot ships with two sets — one preinstalled in the UltraBin.
